McCall's 3924 Utterly Charming Dress with Slim or Full Skirt 1956 a dress which left me speechless.  A bit of Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe.

Did you know that you can make your own "yeast"?  We make our own bread on and off and lately more on than off.  My husband happened to wonder what people did in the olden days when you couldn't go to the store for yeast.  Off to the internet and found out how to make our own.  Wow.  The first loaf from our own yeast made last night and will test it out today but it sure smells good.  Here is a link to EHow with yeast recipes

Featured new is:  McCall's 7832 Loose Fitted & Drop Waist Dress 1995 and for cooler weather the long sleeved is both pretty but sensible.  Plus it's nearly ankle length for warm legs.  Add a turtleneck or a high necked dickey and if you work in an office that is chilly you'll be warm.

Gift Idea of the Day:   McCall's MP236 / 5511 Unisex Tops, Nightshirts, Pants & Top for Dog Too! 2007.  Not only will you and your honey match but your pet dog too - what a hoot!
