Simplicity 7358 Glorious Tent Dress 1967 with the long version a bit "caftanish" - a "jiffy" pattern which makes it easy!  I would prefer the long version with the rolled collar instead of collarless.

Heard more about the cotton shortage issue I wrote about yesterday.  Cotton prices have risen 30% which means anything that uses cotton will go up at least 30%.  Buy now!  Also heard last week that sugar, flour, and corn along with most other things also going up quite a bit.  I bought some sugar last week for $1.99 on sale.  When I shopped yesterday the same size had gone up to $3.99 and was on sale for $2.99.  Flour also had gone up.  Needless to say I am glad I bought extra last week!  I advise stocking up on those staples too before they get higher.  If flour & sugar soar even buying bread will break the budget.  I'm gonna whip out my bread machine.

Just went over my "new" listings and nothing really jumped out at me.  Hmmm - I'll go thru my patterns and list better ones tomorrow.  Here's a nice and easy and versatile skirt pattern though:  Butterick 6684 Elastic Waist Pull On Skirts 1993
