Advance 9259 Superbly Tailored Dress - Handsome Details / ca. 1960 and I used some of the actual description for this pattern which says:  Straight-line dress has handsome details that give it a superbly tailored look.  Widening shoulder narrows to waist with turn back tuck stitched to side section.  Center front dart points up for fashion" - wow.   Pattern makers today are too lazy.  These descriptions from old patterns just brighten up my day!  Another beauty from Advance Sewing Patterns

Had a lovely weekend with a ride up into the local mountains looking for old mines.  Very rocky trip up up up and then a rocky hike to the top for not just an awesome mine but the view in all directions mind boggling.  Here's me your fashion maven - not!
