Butterick 9512 Hollywood Starlet Casual Coordinates / ca. 1960 and can't you just picture some want to be movie star from the 1960's posing for pictures in that hooded shirt & slacks!  Life or Post used to have articles about young starlets and I would hunker down in bed and peruse the pictures and dream!

While out scrounging for patterns Friday I found a rather cool book:  Dictionary of American Slang.  Always looking for just the right word to describe an item.  Some of the ones are pretty awful - grin!  But some are just right.

Found some fun 2000's women's magazines - the kind where it matters not how old it is.  A super cute idea on using vintage hankies and display them instead of leaving them in a drawer.  Find a cute flower bowl or vase (a narrow neck works best) and unfold the hankie, pick it up in the middle and stuff it in the vase.  A pretty dresser display!
